First Day of School

It was great to get the kids off to school today. Mary spent much of yesterday thinking about and putting together her first-day-of-school outfit. She is wearing a pin that says, "What would Jesus Bomb?" that she bought recently.

On the other hand, Raymond and I spent 10 seconds on his outfit.

Bob didn't know what to do with himself and kept getting in the pictures. He starts next week...

Bob and I are off to Home Depot to buy a new front door. It's part of the next home improvement project, the front entryway. It never ends!

Even at a young age they're showing the big difference between men and women - the length of time it takes to choose an outfit! ;-)
Lucky kids getting to choose what they wear to school though - we still have school uniforms in Britain, and they're very strict at certain schools (my high school had a very specific uniform that was only available from 1 shop in the world, so they had a monopoly on it and charged us really high prices just cos they could!) although some schools aren't so strict and let you get away with stuff like wearing a coat over your uniform on the way to school, or wearing non-uniform socks (my school was so strict they even regulated what socks you could wear!). But most sixth-forms here don't have a uniform, or they have a dress code instead of a uniform, which is a good idea i think.
Anyway, nice pix (Mary's outfit is like the sort of thing i wore in the first year of sixth-form, lol!), and i like the pix of your holiday too. Good to see not all yankees are cranky!
