Yesterday Raymond and I went on a picnic on our dirtbikes. We rode on an 8-mile trail through the woods (and over many bridges), along the Sugar River. It starts in the town next to ours, so we packed the dirtbikes in Cranky's truck and hit the trail. It's very scenic and we saw some people walking dogs, jogging, and riding bicycles. During the winter, this is also used as a snowmobile trail.

There are 2 covered bridges -- this is the first one we drove over:

Here is the second covered bridge where we decided to have our picnic.

Raymond and I took pictures of each other:

Near the end of the trail, it there is some construction work being done on a nearby road. The road is being widened, and they have been digging the tall slopes on the sides of the road. It looks like they have found several discarded cars and put them in this holding area:

On the way back home, Raymond was leading and took quite a spill. He hit a large rock and lost control. He was a little freaked out at first but got over it very quickly. He had ripped his shirt a little bit and scraped his arm, but his helmet, chest protector, gloves and boots took the brunt of the fall. After a few minutes, he hopped back on and continued. Before I knew it, he was zipping right along like nothing had happened.

We had a great time and I hope we go again soon.

Sounds like a good time!

Did Cranky ever get the Honda CB's running? The OH is restoring a Yamaha RZ 350 for some strange reason *L*

The second half of the dream, therefore, represents thoughts concerning the elopement, which belonged to the first half of the underlying latent content; the first half of the dream corresponded with the second half of the latent content, the birth phantasy.. The scene at once brought to my mind the proverb: He who keeps his hat in his hand will travel safely through the land.. It is possibly my fault that I have failed, oratorically, to convey to the gentlemen of the jury the full force and significance of the defendant's signals.. I will gladly tell you the history of my spectacles, began Titbottom.. I will now point out where this method leads when I apply it to the examination of dreams.. All my wishes seem to come true this year.. By the way, continued Mr.. Excellent boy! said his mother.. With a fine constancy the Colonel still retained his partner's name on his door-plate--and, it was alleged by the superstitious, kept a certain invincibility also through the manes of that lamented and somewhat feared man.. 'Then I reckon shootin' must be one of those habits,' said Pinkey, coolly.. What I come fur, continued Uncle Mose, reaching into his pocket--besides de sight of home folks--was to pay Mars' Pendleton what I owes him.. The auctioneer was leaning back in his chair, with his legs stuck out of a low window, quietly smoking a cigar after the labors of the day, and humming the music from the last new opera.. After this, Master Horner made his own bargain.. A soft and smothered giggle answered him, and this time Vashti looked up and laid her head against him with a small sigh of contentment.. Polly is more rash than I am, as the reader has observed in the outset of this memoir.. We have said that from the nature of the association mechanism the dream process more easily takes possession of recent or indifferent material which has not yet been seized by the waking mental activity; and by reason of the censor it transfers the psychic intensity from the important but also disagreeable to the indifferent material.. Twice certified, who should dare doubt his competency? Even Joshua was civil, and lesser louts of course obsequious; though the girls took more liberties, for they feel even at that early age, that influence is stronger than strength.. The defendant's counsel rose and mumbled a few words of apology, and the incident closed.. Not a ray gleamed through the Venetian shutters, and the glimmer beyond the fan-light over the door was almost imperceptible.. The river was not far away...

I think it's awesome that you took your middle child out for a special date with mom. It's hard enough to give enough attention to two kids, and I commend you for taking the time for all three of yours!!!

I like that boy. He's gutsy.

I gotta admit, the abandoned cars make my heart thump faster. I wanna go in there with a flatdeck trailer and carry home some parts cars!!!
