Superwoman!!!

Holding up a well-known tower in Pisa, Italy:

I also bought a couple of really cool low-crawling army men toys for my sons. How long will they have their legs attached? No telling in our house! (Bob is a "disassembler".)

I may take a train to Florence tomorrow. Back home to Sunapee on Monday.

Have a wonderful weekend!

#2 daughter was a notorious "disassembler" too... Do you think you might have a budding engineer? *G*

I was wondering what kept that poster child for bad foundations standing. *G*

I love the term "disassembler."

So at the leaning tower of Pisa, is there a sign next to the rock you're standing on that announces this quintessential photo spot?

J: I'm standing on one of the many rock fence posts where tourists take pictures. I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture of the 20 or so tourists all doing this at the same time!

Mal: There is a line of engineers in my family (including me) and Bob may well join the ranks.

Hi

My name's Jemma Egan. I'm an artist based in Liverpool in the UK. I'm trying to compile images of people pushing/holding The Leaning Tower of Pisa for an ongoing project I've been working on for some time. I found lots of photographs similar to yours when I was looking for something else and I really liked them and wanted to share them with other people. So far my collection of images has been exhibited in a couple of small galleries but I’m hoping sometime in the future to put together a small publication of the collection.

I really like your photograph and I’d really like to add it to my collection and possibly use it for the publication and I wondered if you would be so kind as to grant me permission to use it?

If it is okay for me to use your photograph, I would like to send you a very short word document to fill in for my records. I can email it to you if you send me your email address.

Thanks

Jemma
